Come and listen to Professor Gianni Angelini talk about the importance of driving innovation in medical research and translating it into clinical practice. Professor Gianni Angelini is the British Heart Foundation Chair of Cardiac Surgery at the Bristol Heart Institute, University of Bristol and University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust and the Clinical Chair of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Head of Cardiac Surgery at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College, London.
You will have an opportunity to meet senior University and NHS executives, clinicians, researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, businesses, and community leaders in a relaxed setting. Talk to the innovators and to potential collaborators and partners.
During the showcase, the winner of the BRIG-H 2011 Health Innovation Award will be announced.
Locally sourced drinks and canapés will be available throughout.

Venue
The UWE Exhibition and Conference Centre is located half a mile from the M32 motorway, adjacent to the University's Frenchay Campus. Access to the centre is via the North Entrance - full directions can be found on the Exhibition and Conference Centre directions page, or you can download a printable map.
There is free car parking available, however a permit is required and will be sent to you once you register.
