Uniscan Instruments has rapidly grown into a world leader for successfully developing innovative measuring instruments and systems for electrochemistry with specific applications to electrochemical sensors and biosensors. The Company has extensive resource and expertise in micro-controller engineering, software and knowledge of design of novel low noise voltage and current measurement systems applied to the development of small, powerful portable potentiostats and impedance analysers. Uniscan has recently participated in the start up of a joint venture company to exploit the work undertaken in the Framework 6 STREP “ELISHA” which will commercialise portable immunosensor devices developed within the project.
Main products and services:
Uniscan manufactures research instruments for electrochemistry (potentiostats, impedance analysers, multi-channel potentiostats, and various systems for spatially resolving electrochemical activity). Uniscan's products are used for R&D electrochemistry in University's as well as industrial and sensor Company's around the world.
The Company also partners sensor developers to design and build application specific devices for healthcare, environmental and analytical markets.
Collaborations Sought:
Uniscan collaborates and seeks collaboration in area's of R&D projects including national (eg TSB) or EU (eg. FP7) projects. We also seek sensor developers who require instrumentation expertise to develop market ready products and systems.
